ESBK in Aragon, Spain | First appearance for Reiti in the Spanish championship

Markus Reiterberger has just achieved a terrific third place with the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team at the legendary 24 Heures Motos in Le Mans, France, and the 27-year-old Bavarian is already on his way to the next championship.

As part of the Dunlop test team, Reiterberger will take part in the Spanish championship at the event in Aragón this weekend. The results from previous tyre tests are used in national championships to see where they are at. Reiterberger has been part of the Dunlop test team since last year and has always been on the home test track of the tyre manufacturer in Mireval, France. This weekend, however, just like at the ESBK events in Jerez de la Frontera and Valencia, he can also take part in the Spanish championship. The expectations are high, even if the ESBK is completely new territory for Reiti.

However, he knows Motorland Aragón from his time in the WorldSBK championship and Reiterberger likes the Grand Prix track as well.

Markus Reiterberger:

“I have been a test rider in the Dunlop test team since last year and have taken part in intensive preparations for the championship. We mostly test on Dunlop's home track in Mireval, France. But the results from the tests are then transported and implemented in national championships. I am excited to see what we can achieve. My first commitment will be Aragón and I my expectations are high for the upcoming weekend. I know how high the level of development work is at Dunlop. I don't know what exactly to expect, but I'm looking forward to a new experience and to see where we are compared to the other competitors. The Spanish championship is a very top-class championship. But Aragón suits me and I like the track. The weather should be mixed, but warm. These are the best conditions. Practice starts tomorrow. I am very excited."
