Markus Reiterberger wants to fight for the world title with BMW

In three weeks, the FIM Endurance World Championship will kick off the 2024 season with the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Markus Reiterberger will once again be part of the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team, as in previous years. Last year, Reiti finished the season in third place together with his team-mates. The title is the declared goal for the new season.

A lot has happened over the winter. BMW has further improved the M 1000 RR. Tyre supplier Dunlop will bring new developments to the race tracks. And there have also been some changes to the team. Former WorldSBK Champion Sylvain Guintoli is a new member and will form the BMW works team together with Ilya Mikhalchik and Reiti.

Markus Reiterberger:

"I expect that we can improve again this year. Last year, we finished on the podium three times and ended up third overall. We want to fight for the world championship. That's why we're here. We have made changes in some areas, both in the team and on the motorbike. There are updates from BMW and from tyre supplier Dunlop. Parts of the crew are new and we also have a new team-mate. I hope that we all grow together as quickly as possible and form a good team so that we can top last year's successes and get closer to the dream of the world title. Next week we'll be doing a test to prepare for the start of the season. Le Mans is a circuit that we all know well. I'm hoping for good weather, which is not a given at this time of year."
